One Day Trip to Paserang Island

It took me few weeks to get in a mood to write again, not really that I was too lazy to do that, was just because I realized how untalented I am in writing -_-. But last trip to Paserang Island was something I need to write about and share, so here we go.......

Paserang is one of 8 tiny uninhabited islands around Tano Districts, been there once few years ago and I still remember how fun it was then suddenly few weeks ago it made me wanna go back there. With a special friend of mine, we decided to go together and contacted a boat guy I know to take us to the island. He dropped us with a small speedboat for Rp. 400,000 round trip and it took only 15 minutes. Well yea it was kinda expensive for only 2 person, so better to bring more friends. He also has other boats with capacity up to 10 people for the same price.

In Paserang, there is a resort in the making, it’s called Black Bamboo Resort, but since it’s not finished yet, the workers allowed us to use the balcony of the cottage to chill at. Luckily no other visitors at that time, only some workers resting, when it’s less people, always feels better. So 1st thing to do was taking some pictures :D, I always like Paserang beach tho, the water was so clear and clean with stunning white sands. It was freaking hot and not so many trees around, maybe foreigners will like it and even go sunbathing, but as a Sumbawanese who lives in a place with eternal summer I chose to chill under the dock instead, hiding from the sun heat :D

As I remember from my visit few years ago, Paserang has really nice underwater world. Even tho I can’t swim, I really wanted to go snorkeling even when I didn’t have my life jacket at that time. But luckily they set up a big string under the dock so I could just swim while holding on a string. Didn’t have the underwater camera tho so I used my phone camera which was not so good but it was kinda enough to show what I did underwater :D. There are couple of Anemon fish swimming around and I was playing with them. My friend went swimming so much further and saw more but he didn’t bring the camera so no matter how much I said it was nice I prolly couldn’t prove it this time L but here is the amateur video of it -,-

I don’t really understand coral’s names or fish names, all I know was many fish around me :D and that it was fun, that I was happy, that I spent like 30 minutes only to play with the Nemo, the only kind of fish I know. An hour later, done with snorkeling we took a rest a lil bit and took some more pictures and there is a hill in Paserang, not so high but once I climbed it and the view was amazing from up there. So I was thinking to do that again and I asked my friend if he wanted to but nah he didn’t want to -,-. I was about to do it by myself but after few steps walking, the sun heat made me lose my mood :D. So I went back to the cottage balcony and took a rest instead :D.

Yeah we didn’t do much but so I didn’t have many things to tell -,- but still had fun tho :D. But i guess next time i gotta bring underwater camera and snorkeling more, also climb the hill -,-. But yeah...we took a rest till the boat guy picked us up, he told us about the island next to Paserang which actually was an island I really wanted to go too all this time, it has lagoon in it, but I guess that’s gonna be my next trip exploring West Sumbawa. Since it also costs Rp. 400,000 round trip, I wish to go with more friends :D
