Tropica & Jelenga Beach

Oh please don’t get bored of my Jelenga Beach stories, I know it’s like the 5^th times I’m writing about it but I just like going there again and again. Or maybe it wasn’t a 100% true cause going there last weekend was just a last minute decision and we didn’t know where else to go.

If you heard about the eruption of Mount Agung in Bali, it caused many flights canceled, including my flight to Bali. Then I changed it to Lombok but sigh…flight to Lombok was also canceled. It was a 3 days off and we lost 1 day already due to this cancellation. Was so excited about going on vacation that weekend so I felt like I had to go somewhere,,but I guess this time should be somewhere near. Can’t go anywhere if i can’t go to Lombok airport 1^st :(.

So we just decided to go to West Sumbawa and we still didn’t even know where to stay but we thought just go there 1^st and we’ll figure it out later when we arrive. We left at 7.30 am and arrived in Sekongkang on lunch time. We wanted to see this hotel we searched online on the way called Nomad Tropical Resort , it looks great. But we decided just to have lunch there even tho we already checked all the room types. The resort is located in one of the most famous beaches in West Sumbawa. We saw some other people which im sure sure were all surfers. West Sumbawa Beaches are well-known for their big waves for surfing. After lunch we just took some pictures at the beach and continue trip to find the next hotel.

But finally, we ended up staying at the same hotel we stayed at twice before. We just like that hotel so much that we always go back there,,besides not so many other options -,-. Yeap it was Myamo Beach Lodge again, a nice place to stay at Jelenga Beach. The price is always half price cheaper than on websites so it’s always better to just book directly at the hotel. I guess it’s also because Jelenga beach is most of the time quiet, not so many people going there which is good so I could have the beach all for myself..but no no,,it’s not really good tho, the beach is too amazing not to notice by more people. And the sunset there was always amazing,,unless that last time, it was cloudy.

So yea 1 night staying at the hotel and not so many people around, I guess we were the only ones staying there at that time. Not so many people at the beach too, I couldn’t even meet anyone who i could ask for help to take my pictures, so I was struggling setting my timer and camera on good position, the result was not really satisfying tho.

Anyway I think I don’t need to write a lot about this beach and the hotel since I wrote about it many times before. I actually just wanted to share the newest pictures I took there which was not so many :D. But hey enjoy it \\(^o^)//
