Malang Trip Part II

Coban Rais & Coban Putri

On my 2^nd day of Malang trip, a local friend took me to Batu City. There are many interesting destinations in Batu but my plan was going to Coban Rais cause i’ve been wanting to take a picture on a swing which i saw a lot on Instagram and it was so cool :D. We drove a motorbike and it took over an hour to get there.

Coban Rais can be very costly but yea it depends on how many photo spots we wanna enter. Just to enter this place we gotta pay Rp. 25,000 and we got 2 free spots to take picture at. We gotta pay additional Rp. 10,000 – Rp. 20,000 to enter some other spots, and i took another 2 additional spots so i paid Rp. 55,000 which were swing and bicycle spots. It was pretty crowded and my friend said it was always crowded there but luckily i didn’t have to wait in the swing spot. I was the 1^st person to get to the spot so they immediately let me swing.

 

So in each spot they have a photographer, the ticket includes 3 times taking pictures by the photographer but we will only get 1 of it. If u wanna take your another 2 pictures we gotta pay additional Rp. 5,000 for each additional picture. Well from 3 pictures on the swing i had only 1 good picture -,- but i did take 1 additional picture just to file it :D. I gotta wait pretty long time to get on the flying bicycle tho. We had to take queue number and they will call us one by one. Same like other spot they also took 3 pictures of us but again i only had 1 good picture in this spot -,-.

 

I actually had another 2 spots but those 2 spots are the free ones that came with entrance ticket so it was so much more crowded than any other spots and i had no patience to wait so i just walked around and take some pictures by myself. When you are done taking pictures or walking around you can take all the pictures from the photographer in their studio, they will send it to your phone and lucky again i didnt have to wait for this one. They immediately sent my picture files. 

 

Actually it was my only plan that day, i thought i would spend all day there but i finished before noon. So my friend suggested me to go to Coban Putri which was close from Coban Rais. We drove for like 10 minutes to get there. Coban Putri doesn’t have as many spot as in Coban Rais but i directly went to the waterfall instead of the photo spot. The waterfall isn’t so high but it was pretty. Not so many people, so much less crowded than Coban Rais, they also had a swing there. The entrance ticket was only Rp. 15,000. We took a rest for a bit there and enjoy the waterfall. 

 

We were there for like an hour then going back to Malang city and since we still had much time left we decided to go to the Colorful village again. I went to more places then i planned and it was so much fun, i was lucky to have such a good friend even tho it was our 1^st time meeting in real life even tho we’ve been friends on Facebook for few years.
