Leppu Beach - Labangka 3

Leppu Beach is one many cool beaches in Labangka, south part of Sumbawa Island. It is located in Labangka 3. Labangka itself is a district, consists of 5 villages, Labangka 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5.  Labangka is also the largest corn producer in NTB Province. South beaches are famous with their big waves, perfect for surfing but since it's still less known so not so many people visit those beaches, besides still difficult to access and no accommodations around.

From Sumbawa Besar to Labangka it takes about 2 hours driving. I'm not so sure about public transportation but i think they have some small buses going to Labangka daily, and then you can continue to the beach by Ojek. I went there by motorbike with 36 friends from Adventurous Sumbawa and it was our 3rd trip together.  Arrived in the village then we gotta deal with the bad road, climb ups and downs, dusty, holey, rockey, slippery, but last time i went there they were working on the road so i guess it's all okay now.......i hope.

We arrived at the beach around noon and seriously, Leppu is one of the nicest beach i've ever seen! ( I haven't seen too many beaches yet but still............). The blue sea and big waves, stunning white sands, it was awesome! But the most important is it was so quiet there, no other people, like a private beach ^^. That’s what I like most about beach, when it’s quiet :D. Well most of beaches in Sumbawa it's never too crowded or usually it's totally empty so you can take whatever pictures with real beach background without worrying other people will walk behind you when you take a selfie.

There is a cliff at the beach some people climbed on, me too of course. The view from the top was amazing. We saw some turtles too, awwww so cute. But the thorny plants and ants were pretty annoying up there. Gotta be careful too cause there ware sharp rocks around, i got scratched a lot on my not so sexy legs because of that.

The worst thing that happened there was just when I was taking picture with friend, suddenly big wave came and messed up with my camera and phone -_-, phone survived \\(^o^)// but camera didn’t -_- Well my advise if you go there please always be careful with your stuff, the ocean may look calm but it can suddenly hit you with their big waves out of nowhere. It was like Neptune got mad that i didn't take picture with him.

After taking blablabla pictures we cooked and ate together while enjoying the view, some people brought their own food and share with each other. I don't remember if i share my food or not but i do remember asking food from friends :D :D :D, nah kidding. After ate and the sea water went down, we could see the bottom of the sea where it was like many small natural pools. I entered one of the small pools and chilled in it like a boss ^^.

We took pictures and chilling until the leader of the group yelled at us cause some people started to take crazy pictures very close to the big waves (i think i was one of those some people). Then drive back to Sumbawa Besar with such great feelings after spending the day at an amazing place like Leppu. Btw i know i can't but i feel like changing the beach name to be Pupu, sounds cuter.
