Another
white sand beach that is worth visit and write about.
That’s
what i thought when i 1st saw a picture of Pasir Putih Beach a friend posted on
Facebook. I immediately tried to find more info about it, asking friends,
googling, searching on Instagram,,not too much info that i got of course but the
village name, that was i need then decided to go there with a friend.
Pantai Pasir
Putih or Whitesand Beach is located in Brang Lamar Village, Lunyuk District.
From Sumbawa Besar to Lunyuk is like 3,5 hours driving. Even tho i was sleeping
along the way but yeah the road is good even until the beach. Well we went to
the wrong direction at 1st but it was just because i was asleep and my friend
didn’t wanna wake me up to ask where the beach was and tried to find it by
himself using maps but when i woke up and realized we were in the middle of
nowhere, we started to ask some people about the right direction to the
village. We drove about another 20 minutes and then it was just that easy, we
found the beach which is exactly on the road side.
The beach
was really nice but the parking area was just so bad, it was sooo dirty,
plastic everywhere. But we were lucky because it was only us there at the time,
people just passed by and most of them didn’t even look at the beach at all
(yea i paid attention to that), they just kept driving. I was pretty
surprised,,i mean were they just bored of that beach cause they could see it everyday
or they just didn’t care about the beach or i was the one who over dramatic
about it?. But the beach was so peaceful and pretty. If i brought my hammock
that i would set it up there and it would be perfect, but i didn’t.
So we
were just taking a rest a lil bit and then i started to walk to the beach. But
my friend was too tired after long drive so i took some pictures at the beach
by myself using camera timer -,-. The sands felt so soft under my feet and it
was so white, well i didn’t really understand about how good camera works so
the camera setting kinda change the sands color on my pictures. If it wasn’t
too hot i would lay there sunbathing, but living in Sumbawa is like sunbathing
everyday so i don’t need more of it. But i did it for a picture tho. Well that’s
what i like about most of Sumbawa beaches. It’s like your private beach that
you can take any kind of picture without worrying that someone will walk behind
you. So i was being my own model and thanks to Timer -,-
I didn't wanna get into the water tho, people always say that south beach is pretty dangerous, big waves could come suddenly and blabla, since i can't swim so i just sat there enjoying the beach.

When my friend woke up, we drove a lil bit further to see if there was gonna be another beach or good spot but we didn't really find anything and didn't drive that far cause we were both tired. So we drove back to Sumbawa and i was back to my sleep along the way while my friend driving and got annoyed by his lazy travel mate next to him :(
