Snake & Sunset in Tanah Lot - Bali

I’ve been to Bali few times before but Last January 9th 2016 was my 1st time going to Tanah Lot. I only had 2 days off on weekend so Tanah Lot was my only destination.

From Sumbawa to Bali, it took like 50 minutes by flight and from Ngurah Rai International airport Bali i took taxi to take me to my hotel which is exactly inside Tanah Lot area, about 1,5 hours from the airport and it costs like Rp. 300.000

The hotel i stayed at, Natya Hotel was pretty nice and good location, many people sell food and clothes which was too bad cause everything was so much more expensive there. But it only takes like 7 minutes walking to see Tanah Lot Temple at the beach.

Well i arrived at the hotel around 3 pm and after took a rest a lil bit, i walked to the beach to see Tanah Lot Temple. But on the way to the beach i seen a sign said ‘Snake Park’ so i followed the sign and entered a small park with some snakes and bats and owl. So they offer taking pictures with those snakes. We have to print at least 1 picture and paid Rp. 100.000 for it. So i did it cause it was kinda 1 of my missions going to Bali, i always wanna take pic with snakes. But i was kinda scared tho, even tho the snake i took pic with was not that big but it was my 1st time being that close and touch a snake so i was pretty nervous.

After that i went to the beach and it was so many people around. So after walking around a lil bit, i went to a restaurant called Sunset Corner and waited till the sun sets which was beautiful. Enjoying Tanah Lot Temple with Sunset background at the beach People were busy taking pictures of it,,yea people like me -,-. That dinner was amazing with that amazing view.

After that i walked back to hotel but visited some stores on the way back, didn’t buy anything tho :D Then just went back straight to hotel and didn’t do anything anymore besides sleeping -,-. The next morning woke up pretty early and hotel breakfast was pretty nice, too many food for my small stomach and the pool was pretty nice too even tho i didn’t go swimming in it.

Around 11 am i checked out and went to the gate and ea it was pretty difficult to find taxi here and the only option was just rent a car that costs like Rp. 600.000 to the airport which was so ewww expensive.

And yea that was my short story about visiting Tanah Lot. Snake and sunset at Tanah Lot Temple on weekend, amazing \\(^o^)//.
